  4. You can use “Nokia Software Updater”:
Use the Nokia Software Updater application to help you update your Nokia device software. Nokia Software Updater is compatible with most Nokia devices.

    * Allows you to download and install the latest Nokia device software.
    * Only needs to be downloaded once to your PC.

  5. HI i have a n95 8gb and cannot update the software. from what i can see the updater is only available for pc and not mac. never realised a mac was so limited with stuff like this and massive firms like nokia hardly cater for anything but windows users. great phone but virtually useless for the future i think

  7. mine wont update so I guess I have to update the product code :( not keen about doing this, anyone else updated the product code then updated the firmware to v 30.x ?

  8. I changed the product code of my phone to do the upgrade to the V20 firmware as my supplier (t-mobile uk) was stuck on v13. That worked perfectly fine. Currently running v21 firmware and will update to v30 shortly.

However please remember that you are likely to blow away any support contract you have with your supplier if you change the product code and if it goes wrong you can end up with a very expensive brick!

  9. Just to confirm I have updated to the V30 firmware. Which was simple and easy.

No new problems but stability is about the same. Typically I get one or two crashes a day (I now notice them more because I have the step-counter application running and it stops on a reboot).
